My Studio

Welcome to my home and come on into the music room.

1) A 4 piece Red Sparkle Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz kit (a Christmas gift from my wife).

2) A 4 piece custom Ayotte.

I use a Macintosh iBook G4 and Garage Band to run a metronome and play lesson recordings that I designed. Instead of practicing only with a metronome you'll practice with tracked music. You can take the tracks with you on a CD so practicing at home is fun and relevant.

The studio is equipped with a couple of microphones so as you advance we can record your drumming to the computer and use the recordings to listen to your improvement as well as write some music on Garage Band.

Very soon I will have a PA system so that you can play along with your favorite songs and bands. Using the mics and the computer we can record your performance with your favorite band and hear how you sound.
